Pinnacle Learners Scholarship 2026
Pinnacle Learners was founded in Rozelle and has grown because of the incredible support from families across the Inner West - Balmain, Birchgrove, Rozelle, Leichhardt, Drummoyne, Haberfield, Hunters Hill and Annandale. We’ve seen first-hand how passionate our community is about education and creating opportunities for young people.
We also know that not every student has equal access to tutoring. Some families may not be able to afford ongoing lessons, even though their child has the drive and determination to succeed. This scholarship is our way of giving back to the community that has trusted us with their children’s education
Learning Support
Each student will receive a personalised learning plan tailored to their goals and current challenges. Lessons are supported with weekly homework checks and individual feedback. The student will also recieve access to Pinnacle study resources.
What’s On Offer
Free Tutoring and Lessons
Students will access 6 months of free 1:1 tutoring, working with a specialist tutor in one subject of your choice (either English, Maths or Legal Studies). There are 20 lessons total: 10 lessons weekly across two school terms.
Beyond the Classroom
Students benefit from ongoing accountability, mentoring, and the confidence that comes from seeing their marks improve. The winner will also have the opportunity to share their journey on Pinnacle’s Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Who Can Apply?
We’re looking for a student who is:
In Year 7–12 in 2026
Living in Balmain, Birchgrove, Rozelle, Leichhardt, Drummoyne, Haberfield, Hunters Hill or Annandale.
Achieving around 50–60% in their chosen subject.
Ready to work hard: attend weekly lessons on time, complete homework, be committed to feedback.
Happy for their name, school, and progress to be used in marketing (and with their parents consent)
Comfortable on camera (or willing to learn) to appear in short videos, photos, and testimonials for our socials.
Why Should I Apply?
This scholarship isn’t just about free lessons. It’s about growth, confidence, and opportunity.
Prove what effort can achieve: show yourself, your school (and maybe also your parents) how far you can go with consistent work.
Inspire others in your area: become a role model for other students who think ‘average’ marks mean they can’t improve.
Build real-world skills: gain confidence in front of the camera, learn how to share your story, and develop communication skills you’ll use for life.
Set up Year 12 success: whether you’re in Year 7 or 11, strong study habits and improved results now will put you in the best position for senior years.

Selection Criteria
We’re not looking for the “perfect student.” We’re looking for someone with potential, commitment, and a willingness to share their journey. Our selection process balances academic growth with community impact.
Commitment & Reliability (30%): We want a student who shows up every week, completes homework, and demonstrates genuine effort. Consistency matters more than natural talent.
Growth Potential (25%): The ideal candidate is currently achieving 50–60% in subject but has the drive to improve. We’ll look for signs of progress, resilience, and a readiness to push towards A-level results.
Community & Social Media Engagement (25%): A key part of this scholarship is inspiring other students. The winner must be comfortable appearing in videos and testimonials on our Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Local Community Connection (10%): Students must live in Balmain, Birchgrove, Rozelle, Leichhardt, Drummoyne, Haberfield, or Annandale. We want the scholarship to benefit our Inner West community.
Logistics & Fit (10%): Weekly availability and smooth scheduling are important. We’ll also consider whether the student’s goals and needs align with what Pinnacle Learners offers best.
FAQs
-
Yes - it’s absolutely free. The Pinnacle Learners Achievement Scholarship is valued at over $2,500 and includes 20 one-on-one lessons, a personalised learning plan, resources, and weekly feedback. There are no hidden costs: your only job is to commit to showing up and doing the work.
-
Lessons take place in-person at our Rozelle office, conveniently located for families in the Inner West. If needed, online lessons are also available, though in-person is encouraged to get the most out of the experience.
-
We understand that life happens — if you give notice, we’ll do our best to reschedule within the same term. However, lessons can’t be carried over into future terms, so consistency is really important.
-
That’s exactly what we want to see! Even if you achieve A-level results earlier than expected, you’ll continue receiving full support for the entire 6 months. The scholarship is about developing confidence and sustainable habits, not just lifting marks once.
-
The winner will feature regularly on Pinnacle Learners’ Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This could include study tips, progress check-ins, short interviews, or fun behind-the-scenes clips. Don’t worry: you’ll always know in advance what we’re filming, and parent/guardian consent is required. It’s a chance to inspire other students and gain real-world confidence in the process.
-
Not at all. Many students start out shy, and that’s okay. We’ll support you to grow your confidence gradually. Enthusiasm and willingness to try are much more important than being “perfect” on camera.
