Our Story
After working with hundreds of students over 5 years, we noticed a clear pattern: most weren’t struggling because they lacked intelligence or couldn’t grasp the content. They were struggling because no one had taught them how to write clearly, communicate ideas effectively, or study in a way that actually worked. They knew the ‘what’ but not the ‘how.’
We set out to change that. We developed proven essay structures, mapped out assessment plans, designed effective study methods, and showed students how to approach their work with strategy and confidence. The results spoke for themselves. Struggling students became confident communicators. Capable learners became high achievers. One student became five. Five became fifty.
Today, Pinnacle Learners is a team of tutors dedicated to making academic success smoother, faster, and less stressful for every student we teach.

Alessia

Subjects: English Standard, Advanced and Legal Studies
With a 99.15 ATAR from Sydney Girls and a state rank in Italian, Alessia brings both academic excellence and a deep understanding of the HSC to her students. Having completed a Bachelor of Arts and now pursuing a Bachelor of Laws at USYD, she draws on her broad academic background to make lessons practical and impactful. Over the past 6 years, she has tutored more than 100 students in English Standard, Advanced, and Legal Studies, helping them achieve results they didn’t think possible.
Harry
Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (in progress), UNSW. ATAR: 98.5 (Vice Dux)
Experience: 1 year tutoring
Subjects: Maths Extension 1/2, English, Modern History
Harry brings both academic excellence and an approachable personality to his students. Graduating with an ATAR of 98.5 and Band 6s in Mathematics Extension 1 and English Advanced, he was awarded Vice Dux of his year. Currently completing a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (Honours) at UNSW, Harry understands the rigour and discipline required to excel at the highest level. His lessons simplify complex ideas, encourage problem-solving, and focus on exam readiness.
Braden

As a SHORE graduate and 1sts-level soccer player, Braden knows what it takes to balance the demands of elite sport with academic excellence. He achieved Band 6 results in English Advanced, Business Studies and Mathematics, all whilst balancing high level sporting commitments. Now completing a Bachelor of Engineering, Braden specialises in helping students design personalised study plans that fit around busy schedules, ensuring students stay motivated and confident heading into exams.
Lachlan

With a strong academic record from Knox Grammar, Lachlan achieved outstanding results in both Mathematics Advanced (2U) and Extension 1 (3U). Currently studying a Bachelor of Business, Lachlan tutors across both Mathematics and English, giving his students the benefit of clear strategies in problem-solving, essay writing, and exam preparation. Known for his patient and supportive approach, he helps students break down difficult concepts into manageable steps while developing the skills and confidence they need to excel in assessments.

Isabella achieved Band 6 results herself and knows how to guide students through the unique challenges of the HSC.
